Venison Deer Roast
Nice size deer roast 1 bottle of Italian dressing Minced or whole garlic Salt and pepper to taste
Wash and trim deer roast. Place in a container enough to cover the roast. Cut several holes in the roast bottom and top and push the garlic in the roast.
Next marinate with the Italian dressing for 24 hours
After the roast has been marinated for 24 hours, place in a large roasting pan, make sure you cover the roast with aluminum foil. Cook for 2 to 3 hour until tender. Serve sliced
Deer Burgers
1 pound of ground venison 1 large onion 1 green pepper 3 stalks celery 3 green onions Italian bread crumbs 2 eggs Dash or two of Worcestershire sauce Salt and pepper to taste
Chop all vegetables and mix in large bowl with ground venison
Add eggs and breads crumbs to taste, mix well. Add Worcestershire and salt and pepper to taste, mix well. Make hamburgers patties and cook on low fire till done.
Venison Meat Loaf
1 pound of ground venison 2 eggs 1/2 to 1 cup of bread crumbs Large onion 1/2 cup green onions 2 stalks celery 1/2 bell pepper Garlic minced 2 tablespoons
Mix all the vegetables and two eggs well, shape into loaf.
Place into loaf pan sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Bake in preheated 350-degree oven for 1 hour Yield: 8 to 10 servings.
